About Us:

The Excel Academy Program provides a learning environment for students in grades Kinder through Twelfth.  Students complete daily expectations through traditional, project-based, and online assignments.  Excel Academy uses technology, text books, and various hands on lessons to allow students to engage in a well-rounded educational experience.
Philosophy:
Excel Academy Executive Director and Educator Jennifer Wistisen believes that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially.  It is her desire as an educator to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites sharing of ideas.

Elements conducive to establishing such a learning environment are:

 -   Allow the child's natural curiosity to direct his or her learning

 -   Promote respect for all things and all people

  • Plants a tree for every yearbook sold
  • Partners with green certified printers to produce yearbooks on recycled paper
  • Recycles and composts as many materials in their office as possible.
